Visiting Greenville

This past weekend the family loaded up and drove to Greenville, MS to visit Owen and Elizabeth's Uncle Burt. Everyone had a great time. Even Amy's father, Papa, was there.

Owen had a great time playing with Papa, his Uncle Burt and Uncle Burt's dog, Lola. Plus, he did so many laps on the stairs that we all lost count.

Amy's friend Jennifer was also in town with her baby girl, Ava so Amy got to catch up with her friend and Elizabeth made a new friend of her own.

We even went to visit Amy's Aunt Carolyn and Uncle John. They were thrilled to see Elizabeth and Elizabeth was thrilled to see their dogs.

Along with the good company was some outstanding food. Spaghetti from Doe's, pizza from Pasquale's and a burger from Frostop. All in all it was a great weekend.

First Dentist Visit

Owen had his first visit to the dentist on wednesday.  Amy took him and apparently he did great.  The hygenist went through all of her tools and showed him each one and what they did.  Then, she counted his teeth while she looked for cavities.  Finally, it was time for the actual cleaning.  She said that she was only going to do as much as Owen would let her but he never said a word.  She went through the whole process and Owen sat there and let her clean his teeth like a champ.  We were thrilled!

He certainly did alot better than his old man.

Jacob's amazing dinner

About two nights ago I made dinner for us.  Not to be outdone by Amy's superb cooking, I made beef stir fry and I must say, it came out wonderfully!

Amy's superb cooking

Amy made a great dinner last night, homemade chili. We didn't have a recipe so she just winged it. I have to say that Amy did a great job with the chili.

Other than a little bit of leftovers in the pot, we ate quite a bit of it. Chili on a cold night plus homemade cornbread...Tasty.

A Fresh Start

This is the new location of the Woodward's family blog.  A place where friends and family can come to read up on what is going on with all of us.  So, to keep things brief, thanks for reading and we will update very soon.
