Trip to Cleveland, MS

We visited Alan and Chrissy this past weekend. It was a good time full of picture taking as well as playing all day long topped off with a great feast of crawfish.

Owen and Elizabeth had a great time on the playground outside of Chrissy and Alan's house.
Me and Amy had a great time eating crawfish and visiting.

Bath Time

Since Elizabeth has become much more stable, we've started bathing her in the 'big tub' with Owen.  He enjoys the company and she enjoys her big brother, his toys and splashing.

Feeding the Ducks

Today, after eating some catfish at Cock of the Walk, we stepped out to the dock and fed the ducks and geese. Owen was really getting into it and even Elizabeth was enjoying herself.

Owen's House

The easter bunny left Owen a house to play in for Easter.  After Owen took a look at his basket and his chocolate bunny, he then stepped outside to take a look at his house.

Owen: "Look mommy, my house!"
Amy: "Wait, you're not dressed. Do you want to put on your socks and shoes?"
Owen: "No, I'll eat my chocolate bunny"

He eventually got dressed.

Easter

Happy Easter from all of us. It's been a busy but fun Easter.

Owen had a great time dying Easter eggs all by himself. He was very careful when moving the eggs over their prospective dying containers, not so much when placing the eggs in their containers. For a first timer, though, he did pretty good.

Easter morning, Owen's eyes were drawn to the spread of cleverly hidden eggs that surrounded him. He came into our room with a large grin and barely opened eyes. He had a good time finding the eggs and after his first sugar overload of the day, it was time to get ready for church.

Our church had an egg hunt of their own as well as their own very transient Easter bunny. We also met up with some of our old friends. Amy's old roommate Lori, her husband Chris, and their two kids Caroline and Sarah. Then it was off my parent's house to visit, let all the kids find more eggs and eat some really good food!
